Ron attended the event and says: “He (Peter) is an accomplished guitarist who has played with a number of groups whilst he lived in London. He was accompanied by vocalist Julie Richards. They entertained for over two hours and it was a very enjoyable evening.” This has been reiterated by several other members who went along. A total of £675 was raised for our Group during the evening.

Peter said “It was lovely evening we thought of raising £300 however, we never thought we would have over £600. What made me smile was a person bought a brick for £20.” Photo shows Ron ‘collecting’ the original cheque from Peter and Julie.
