At the end of 2022 Ken and Ron went to Tafarn John Y Gwas at Drefach Velindre where they received from Ruby Harries the manager a donation of £517 which the locals had raised through Movember. They had held a hog roast with a live band and the customary shaving of moustaches.

This is an annual event and funds raised will be donated to our Group. The support of Derllys Court Golf Club is greatly appreciated and a fitting tribute to the memory of Jeff, who is sadly missed by all who knew him. Jeff had also previously raised funds for us during his membership.  

Ron took part in this event that started and ended at Bluestone Brewing Company, Cilgwyn. The event was billed as “A 50 mile cycle ride on quiet roads through the heart of beautiful Pembrokeshire.” As we all know there are quite a few hills in this area so you might like to ask Ron how […]
