In Spring 2014, TWWPCaSG donated £15,000.00 to Hywel Dda Urology Service to help fund the purchase of a new prostate biopsy fusion scanner.

Prince Philip Hospital (Llanelli), League of Friends, who have a long history of fundraising for Prince Philip Hospital, held a number of fundraising events and  co-ordinated donations from a large number of local organisations and individuals. A further donation came from Glangwili Hospital League of Friends and the balance was paid by the Hywel Dda University Health Board.

On 28 September 2015, representatives from TWWPCaSG, both Leagues of Friends, local businesses and individual donors, Local Health Board Managers and Clinicians attended a presentation at Prince Philip Hospital to pay tribute to everyone who contributed funds. The fusion scanner allows more accurate diagnosis and is particularly useful with patients who have a negative first biopsy.
